What a coincidence, I've never been to Ireland either.

I have close aunts and cousins there and my grandparents were born there.
I'm going in 2012 with the rest of my family. They go every 3 years and because I'll be an adult by then I'm allowed to go.

I couldn't imagine ever going to Ireland. Two girls work at our work who are from Ireland and I can hardly understand a word they say. We need the Norther Irish quine to translate for the rest of us.

I can understand my aunt Siobhan.. her sons and husband not so much.
Although when Siobhan and Colum visited last and they were bickering it sounded hilarious.

It depends where they are from really, Dublin etc is fine, county Cork is impossible.

They live in Dublin, but they're originally from Kilkenny.

Kilkenny seems to have quite a strong accent. It's weird, for ages I thought there were just two accents from Ireland, Northern Irish and Southern Irish. Soon found out there were a few accents!
