Story time!

Ok...I have a problem on my hands.

I met this girl in college, her name is Jenna, and we've been dating for three months now. Well after the school year was up she had to move back home with her parents in Nebraska.

I'm going up there this weekend to go to one of her friends wedding's.

Well...I've decided that I'm going to break up with her, for various reasons.

One; my grades are horrible and I need to bring them up Two; I like the single life better
Three; I met another girl who I want to spend some time with

Well, I am going to use the first one as my main excuse as to why I am breaking up with her. But the problem is, she really really like's me, but I don't feel the same way about her. I think that when I break up with her she is going to get really pissed of at me and sad and all that jazz.

I realize that she won't want to be friends after this, after all "Friendship often ends in love, but love never ends in friendship"

I'm just going to tell her like it is, and she is going to have to deal with it, after all "I'm just breaking hearts and tearing lives apart just to past the time"

Any advice would be cool...thanks

Anyway about you're problem it sounds like you already know what you're going to do, and hey at least you're not dragging it out longer then need by, so that's always good

Yeah I go to K-state...which is kinda lame.

But yeah...I've already put off breaking up with her for a couple of weeks now...

And then when I go to do it...I second guess myself...

Get it over and done break up with her because the longer you leave it the more harder it will be for you and her!You already said that she really likes you so it's only fair that you tell her the truth.It's hard like any break up in any relationship but if that's how you truely feel I would tell her now and that way you can both move on.And well maybe going to her friends wedding is not a good idea ethier I would suggest to go over there before the wedding and tell her in person.!

gosh, she's gonna be real bummed out when you tell her. I know i would be so sad if my boyfriend suddenly broke up with me right when I was starting to really like him.

but yeah, the sooner you get it over with the better. And definately don't go to the wedding because that's a serious thing to go to with you're gf/bf.

it just dawned on me that i replied a little bit late because your post was made last friday. oh well.

I would tell her all the reasons...well maybe not the other girl part, but really...being honest is always the best answer.
