Starting a conversation on this site.

I am finding it very difficult as a first time visitor to find a topic that has an open discussion going on where people pop in and make comments and where someone else can respond to that comment.I think this site is very difficult to understand . I want to be able to have group 'chats' and scroll up and down to see what has been said on the topic up for discussion and add a new comment to a live discussion. Perhaps I need to play around some more in order to familiarise myself with the workings of this site. If I get to understand its complex set up I might say something on one of the topics. Till then, watch this space.

I think you need to give TFS a bit more chance

It's a little overwhelming to begin with, but it's a great site when you get to know your way around it

There are so many different conversations and a variety of different people to talk to, I think it's probably one of the most friendly sites you'll find online

Hope you settle in well here and make some friends - you won't regret giving it a go I'm sure! Although... I would just say, after reading your profile... don't rule out some of the younger members of the forum soley based on their age. They have just as much to offer on here

Thank you. I most certainly will try but I still can't understand why it should state I am only 13 when I didn't put that in. I have nothing against being 13. I was 13 once.

Could I add that I have managed to update my profile and I hope it makes more sense now. Still can't seem to edit or change the bit at the left of profile. Stats?

Bellestrange that is so very sweet of you. Thankyou for such a warm welcome, I did wonder what was going on with the age bit. I thought I might have hit on something more sinister, what with all that is happening to young people on the internet chat rooms. Thank God it was my stupidity. Am I pittiful or am I pittiful ?
