The direction that a planet rotates has no correlation to time. Venus turns in the opposite direction of all other planets. It is still going in the same direction of time as every other planet in our solar system.

It would seem to me if you are travelling at the speed of light it could take you back in time a few days. And with the rotation into the future! But you are probably correct, anyway it is science fiction!

the rotation of a planet has nothing to do time. only reason it seems that way is that man based the clock off of the cycles of the earth and the sun.

We can and do change the past and the future everyday, the only thing we cannot change is the present as it is the past by the time we are aware of it and while we are thinking of that the future has passed us by.

In fact we are living in the future because of the delay in the brain decoding present information.

Living in the future causes severe problems because we don`t know what we are doing until it is too late to do anything about it.

I'm still not entirely sure what you mean by what space is made of?
its not made of anything.its a definition of area, which can be subjective. empty space is an area that contains no matter.

I'm assuming you mean like 'space' as in the big black bit in between planets. i don't believe it is 'made of' anything.

I think it would be immposible to find an area of space devoid of all matter. There must at least be space dust every where!

Maybe we should attach "swiffers" to the ISS and Hubble?

They could spend all the money on the "SDD"
(swiffer deployment device)

Indeed they could and they could buy squiffers at hugely inflated prices just as the Gummint always do!

karl,

It is very simple really when you think about it.

In order to change anything you must have a choice.

You have no choice about the past.

The present is passing by before you know you have choice.

The only choice you have is in the future and that then will change the past the way you decided it would by choice.

John,

Seems to me that we would be living in the past because humans react to the "delayed" information decoded by the brain.

I will give you an example, because you like those. You see a mouse(the present)info goes to your brain that you have seen the mouse. The brain decodes the "delayed" image of the mouse. The brain tells you to scream (the living part). Your brain reacts in the PAST.

Your decisions are based off pasted information. You are living (making decisions, reacting) in the past.

Suppose that I see a mouse, and snatch it up by it's little tail and eat it...

Isn't that the present?
