Honestly, to me, they both sound like repetitive, ambient gothic noise. In a choice between the two though I chose the first. Liked it a little more.

For me, dark, heavy metal has to have some speed to it, like say for instance Slayer's Hell Awaits. Now that's some freakin' metal! In my opinion of course
