So I want to know what kind of "stereotypes" you all have about people

I wasnt born in kentucky but i have heard bunches of stereotypes about "everyone" in kentucky.redneck etc etc. I was raised here but was raised in the city. So if you have never been here what are your thoughts/stereotypes of people that live in kentucky?

That they're awesome.

Double the awesomeness if they were born in TX and moved there. lol

I can't say I've ever given Kentucky much of a thought past KFC.

I picture mostly farms and buck teeth.

Houston sucks ass...I lived out in Katy for a few months and hated going into houston everyday... f*** that place.


That being said.... Kentucky is full of moonshiners, backwoods, and cute girls with cute accents... Hear theres some good spots for 4x4's...this is all I think I know about Kentucky.

My brother spent a short time in Kentucky on a scholarship doing football (soccer) coaching. He said people there were a bit prudish, and everyone drove everywhere because there weren't any footpaths or pavements (sidewalks).

As Someone_else said, KFC comes to mind. Also the Kentucky Derby.

I haven't heard any stereotypes about Kentucky before.

Tim tells me that people from Kentucky suck. But he's from Tennessee, so that might explain his opinion.

The being said, what I mostly think of with Kentucky is bourbon balls....

I guess it depends where you go here. ive heard from some people that people from here are "nice" lol. then other people are like "oh i heard you all run around barefooted with missing teeth." & sometimes when i watch the news i wonder if it was that "county" they might have went to. lol.

Theres a HUGE difference between lexington & richmond

in Lexington people will walk by & smile at you and if they run into you on accident they will say they are sorry

in richmond most the people mean mug you and if they run into you they dont really say excuse me they just look at you like you are takin time out of their day since they ran into you.

all good assumptions though. & it is kool that some of you havent thought about ky. I cant wait to get outta here after school.
