thats pretty crazy...but its not uncommon on the other side of the world. Whats freakiest part...is when they build them...its up in a matter of weeks...and the building on either side continue as if nothing is happening.

This reminds me of Melaka in Malaysia.

It seems that was a time when taxes were collected based on the width of the front of the house. So they had houses with fronts a few metres wide but the house was nearly a hundred metres deep.

This is a picture ot 2 separate attached houses.



Each is very very deep. Close to about 50 metres deep.

So wow skinny buildings indeed. I'm not sure if you can fit the kitchen sink in there... but they could definitely be turned into bowling alleys... well alley... one alley per freaky looking building
