Since there's no more TFS+, why is the "Be Nice Forum" bar still th

It doesn't really make much sense otherwise for that to still be there on the post page, right? unless there's some other reason, like subliminally suggesting to people that they should just be nice in general? lol

i'm pretty sure that the TFS+ forum has been closed since i joined, but i don't think that "be nice forum" thing has been there since i joined.

i really don't have a great memory though.

It was put there when TFS+ was just started as a reminder to people of which type of forum they were posting in; a TFS+ no-holds-barred type forum, or a "be nice forum".

I like to read it as a command to the forum itself.

"Be nice, forum. I don't want you embarrassing me like you did that day Myspace tried to come over for a few drinks."

It's like whenever I post I get to tell the forum that it had better be nice.

Though I think it helps as a little reminder to be nice. Yeah no one reads things like that what I am thinking.

I actually find it useful when n00bs join and post in the same manner as other certain forums and I can go "Look! this is a be nice forum"

I like Jon's comment too. Like the forum has a habit of insulting your mother in law or is a closet racist.
