When I hear arguments about gun control I always think of them in terms of other phenomena we are witnessing in our society currently. The bigger picture if you will,
1) mass murderers
2) interest in socialism by academia and in popular culture
3) disappearing children en mass
4) anti-semitism
5) interest in white supremacy
6) the adolescent like political rhetoric
7) weakening of congressional power vs executive power
8) and gun control
As a gun owner, I find the idea that these make you think of gun ownership to be a bit off... possibly even disturbing...

As to these, feel free to describe how guns resolve the issues...

And then just a few comments....
1) mass murderers... aren't most of these perpetrated by gun owners?
2) interest in socialism by academia and in popular culture...
3) disappearing children en mass... there are mass kidnappings of children?
4) anti-semitism... hmmm...
5) interest in white supremacy... hmmm...
6) the adolescent like political rhetoric... Trump...
7) weakening of congressional power vs executive power.... Trump & the Republican Party...
8) and gun control.... what exactly is "gun control"?
