In a rare show of congressional cooperation, Republican and Democratic leaders in the Senate announced a two-year budget deal Wednesday that would increase federal spending for defense as well as key domestic priorities, including many health programs.

Not in the deal, for which the path to the president's desk remains unclear, is any bipartisan legislation aimed at shoring up the Affordable Care Act's individual health insurance marketplaces....

National Health Care

> Republicans have been telling us for over 8 years that Obamacare (aka the ACA) is bad and should be repealed.

> Trump has told us Obamacare is dead, even though all he did is get rid of the individual mandate, which was a Republican idea in the 1st place.

> Now Republicans are about to give Dems (some of) what the want (albeit short term) regarding health care.

Prediction: Republicans will stop talking about ending Obamacare and start trying (on some level) to "fix" it.

But maybe I'm wrong....
