I feel bad for him, that's very sad, I can't imagine trying to campaign and deal with someone having just died at the same time.

That is sad news. This can not be a great time to have to carry on the campaign

It is weird that his mother in law died a month before the election. It is kinda reminiscent of his wife dying a month before he was signed in for his first senator term.
