Sarah Palin gaining on Obama.

She still hasn't declared her candidacy, but:

Independents..... the ones everybody's been saying would avoid Palin like the plague.

Obama Hurting

Legally, she has to announce by November, and has said she would make an announcement at the end of September. If she does, the Republican field will be starting again from scratch.

I sure hope she gets the Republican nomination.

From what I've seen/heard/read about her, she'd be a disaster.

The minute she started drawing huge enthusiastic crowds as a VP candidate, the left and the establishment Republicans have been throwing everything at her, but nothing's stuck, and a lot of it has turned out to be known lies when they were used. Not to worry, if there's anything legitimate there, they'll find it. And so far the lies have been mostly low grade rumors.

Looks like we have a Democrat/Independent/Republican coalition.
