I was having a wee look on the SNP's website. I have no liking or affiliation with the SNP, but I wanted to see what their policies etc was.

On the site they describe themselves as being 'Left-Leaning' .

This is a party that advocates nationalism, has introduced bills to keep criminals in jail for longer, really strict rules on smoking, drinking and even what time of night kids are allowed out.

If they describe themselves as Left wing then I must be a communist!

Oh my God, I didn't realise this.

OK, for those of you who know anything about Scottish football you will know that the top two teams (Celtic Of Ireland, and the Rangers Huns) have the beer 'Carling' as their sponsors on their shirts:

The SNP have introduced a policy to ban the childrens replica kits from having that advertisement on them! The SNP seems to think the reason we have an alcohol problem in this country is because the two top teams childrens replica shirts advertise Carling!? Is it just me or is that really stupid?

The kids would see their hero's wearing Carling, see it all round the stadium every week, see their parents and family wearing Carling tops, but they themselves would be forced to wear shirts that don't look like the ones their team play in?

Whether you support the SNP or not is irrelevant, it depends as to whether you think these policies and ideas are stupid or not.

For example if your a Democrat your not going to support a Dem policy, just because its them who made it. Similarly if the Republicans came up with something you agreed with you wouldn't go 'Oh, I'm a Democrat, can't support something the Republicans came up with'.

No no. I got it. I compared them to the ACLU. Yeah, they make things so much more difficult then need be.

The ACLU here tried fighting to have "In God we trust" taken off of our money That sound about right? SNP must be realted to aCLU
