"The Tax Policy Center crunched the numbers for all the loopholes that could possibly be closed, and came to a conclusion that many tax experts have long suspected: Romney's plan would result in a huge break for the rich, and burden the middle and lower tax brackets with a bigger bill."

You'd think with the Tea party success that they would be all over this. Or is the Tea Party totally only a republican side wing now?

So what's the big deal , I mean why would anyone be worried about what he says ?
They are just campaign speech promises. They really have little to do with being in office .

Ron Paul seems to be the only person that would actually stand by his ideals before compromising, but I could be wrong on that.

Ron Paul is getting my vote this coming election day. There are a few important issues I don't agree with him on , on the other hand, there are several important ones that I totally agree with him on.

Is he running in November? Or are you writing him in?

Wow, do I have egg on my face .
There is a good reason I'm so out of touch with current political affairs .
A short list, a grand child in and out of hospital several times in the past 2 1/2 months, as of last Monday she got a be in long term care facility . had few sick animals , we had to have our oldest and favorite dog put down Friday. that's just the important issues.
The last time I checked Ron hadn't officially dropped out .
Is he going to back Gary Johnson then ?

Ron Paul is a Republican. He lost the primaries to Romney.

I guess Obama won't be raising anything to pay for his Obama care package
One reason it don't start until after the election.

I'm surprised you, of all people, with all your posts in the politics and news forums, would be up to speed on the candidates. Especially for one you just professed your vote for, so that's why I thought either he decided to run as a third party candidate after all and I hadn't heard the news or you were talking about writing him in. But yeah, he didn't even get enough delegates to win a speaking spot in the convention. So he's essentially out. Who knows who he will support, probably Johnson, as he refuses to endorse any of the Republican candidates, as he did in 2008. As for the future, his cause will either be handed back to the Libertarian Party, Rand Paul, or Jessie Ventura, as he is probably too old to give it another try in 2016.

I don't have TV nor radio reception out here nor do IO carry a cell phone or lap top around. If I don't look it up on the web ,I don't see it. With that kid being in and out of the hospital and my everyday s*** to take care of ,I have been just skimming the news for close to 3 months.

sometimes life just s***s on my hobby's and leaves me wiping the egg off my face
