Regrets

Do you regret things that you've done in the past or do you put it down to being a good thing as you've gained experience from them??

I try and learn from my past.

I regret loosing my virginity. Everything was wrong about it. THe person, the time, the place, everything,

All I learned was that my ex was horrible and sloppy in bed, and later turned out to be an egotistical a*****e.

s*** is s***. Some is good and some is bad.

Try to look at it that's it's only sex. Just feel that he didn't take any part of you being the person that you are and will become. In essence wait before you jump in.

I try to think of it that way, but being the sentimental person I am, I do feel like I gave it up to the wrong person.
I wish I would have given it to my current boyfriend (who is only my 2nd bf ever), because he waited to give it to that one girl, me. And it breaks my heart I couldn't have given him the same.

No regrets at all, albeit, if there were, I am not going to admit to it

Certain things i would say..yeah i regret doing that but there are also things that i'm kind of glad i done as now i have those experiences... i have two daughters aged 16 and 13yrs and so if they ever get involved in things that maybe i did i could at least say i know what i'm talking about cos i've been there and done it.

You just gotta move on with that feeling in or you'll be telling it to your third. I'm 23 and I really can't remember who f***ed me at 16. Sex is only fun and love only develops when you can grow together.

I don't like random f***s. I have to be with the person for a bit, know that they are in the relationship for committment, and know why they're in the relationship.

And it's all or none. I refuse to be used.

But when it's over; it's over. Move on and be happy.

I believe that I am the sum of all my life experiences. Who I am today is a direct result of all the choices I've made to this point in my life. Tomorrow, I will waken a new man, to start choosing again.

Good for you Saying that though, as long as two people are single and no-one will get hurt and that you protect yourself then no harm done.

I have, it's been over for a good year and I'm with someone 110x better.

But I didn't move on with my virginity, and that fact still bothers me sometimes. Not all the time, because now I'm more focused on my new life.

Yeah, but I have to have emotional intensity. If it's not there, it's not satisfying, and it's not worth it.

The reason he (my bf) waited so long is because he wanted the emotional level. If that wasn't, he could have given it up a LONG time ago. He's a looker, so it's not like he was short handed.
