I've always been into reading and go through phrases where I fancy reading loads and sometimes I don't fancy reading at all.

Anyway, recently I've been in the wanting to read loads. I've got a few different books to read at the moment (proper books & e-books), which include:

The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden
The Woman In Black by Susan Hill
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger

(Spot the connection)

Anyway, I want to read as many great books as possible. I'm willing to try any genre and if I like the sound of it I'll try and read it. What would you suggest?

I did. I was in the hospital for (what seemed) a long a** time and had months of physio but I think I'm over the worst of the long term side effects.
Thanks.

As per the OP, doesn't sound like your style but I also think everyone should read The Great And Secret Show by Clive Barker, just because it's fun.

Minus the dizzy spells that almost knock you on your ass, anyway.

I read that book by Clive per your request - at first I hated it but it turned out really good actually.

Oh, right. Forgot about those. Had one todag actually, but it has been awhile. They're not consistent.
Told you it was good - just a hard start.

Ah, found it now, for some reason it wasn't coming up when I searched with the author too.
