Ok you post your questions that you just want to have answered but don't know where to go and the next person answers them. So fourth continues the never ending cycle!! Got it? Good!!

I'll go first.

I have a question. I thought private messages weren't suppose to go on the post or thread? Isn't the idea of a private message suppose to be well private!!! Not on the Tim Burton Collective site Every Private message is shown!! AAAHHHH!!!!

I've seen it done here and found it very disturbing and juvenile not to mention a deliberate breach of Privacy. It was used in open forum and then the person that had sent the private message was jumped on and other things. I have no clue as to whether the one that put up the PM was reprimanded for his odious action.

Amendment to comment: I have seen this done "twice" on this forum by the same member. This one consisted starting a "Thread" based on a private message received by another member and also named the sender of said private message in their thread. The sender of PM was then ridiculed ruthlessly by other members. It was to say the least abhorrent in my opinion.

They should have been kicked off the forum, permanantly!

Thank you every one. Thats what I was saying, Private messages show up on the Tim Burton Collective. They show up right on the posts!! That is why I was saying it.

pm's are private.

I have personally seen this done to me. One member posted a pm I had sent him, he was never repremanded, banned, nothing happened whatsoever.......the thread went on and on and on, until it was completely deleted, but not for what he had posted about me.



I have also seen it elsewhere, pms are not private, it seems that certain people will post them to the world, so always be careful what you say............it could very well be posted.
