Do you think radio 2 is more fashionable than radio 1 now? I think younger people want a lot more than being spoonfed what music execs think is cool.

Treebs, Radio 2 is broadcasted at for you and not at you like Radio one.. radio one needs a massive overhall now, the format is too.. well.. its lost something that radio one always had, but I cant put my finger on it...

I do like radio 5 live though.. bit of a debate. Have on the internet right now..

i don't think there many radio stations better than radio one.

it's certainty one of the most entertaining ones that i would listen too.

I do like the debate on radio 2 but the DJs really annoy me. Also i prefer the music on radio 1, besides i prefer both compared to local radio.

Good old radio two I have it on going to work and coming home again good choice of songs old and new. Where as radio one never heard of the music they play and they reckon they are the best utter rubbishin my opinion.

I like Radio 2. I can't stand Radio 1. I find the music is generally the kind of music I don't like and the DJ's just annoy me.

I think 6 Music is what Radio 1 should be. Plays music that people my age tend to like more than any other demographic, the DJ's don't talk inanely about rubbish all the time and you can listen to it for an hour and hear music from ten completely different genres.

Radio 2 is quite good, I also like Triple J, BBC Scotland when sport is on and occasionally Five live.

Its good sometimes to have new stuff and old stuff you didnt hear first time around suggested to you. I find Radio 2 is eclectic, it has no real reason for playlist other than it fits in with the ethos of the station rather than sponsors and record companies pushing.
