I'm watching it right now on Netflix instant....this is one of those shows that you can watch years after watching it the first time and it's still pretty cool.

In contrast...every Tuesday evening in the early 80s you'd find me cemented in front of the tv watching the A-Team. I watched it a few years ago in syndication and thought to myself..."Jesus...this is REALLY stupid."

What other shows are timeless?

Oh god, I LOVED Quantum Leap as a kid. And Fantasy Island.

Due South is still pretty good when you watch it now. And Mork and Mindy.

I actually remember watching that during original airing too, but haven't seen it in...jeez...probably 30 years!

I might have to give it a second look!

It'll probably give you more of the A-Team reaction though.

OOohhh another one that I used to watch was the Andy Griffith Show. They're so cheesy now it's actually comical.

Yeah Andy Griffith was pretty fun...and Gilligan's Island!

eagle - you watch quantum leap everyday from 10:00-12:00p.m on channel g4. scott balula ( sam beckett ) grew up in kirkwood, missouri. quantum leap is a great show, a very well written show.

mork & mindy, i love that show, i couldn't enough it. if you want see it, you can see every night on channel hub.

due south is was ok, never had a chance to survived on friday nights, where cbc put it. fantasy island was ok, " the plane, the plane! " was one of the best thing in the show. the stories like " the love boat " and " fantasy island " were ok for the first seasons, but other seasons stories were stupid, and drag a lot.

That's pretty cool! I didn't know Bakula was from around here. I know of course John Goodman is from South St Louis County and Jenna Fisher grew up around Webster Groves. Colin Firth lived here for a year when he was a boy.

eagle - i remember see john goodman's house on ladue road and ballas road, somewhere that area, by that country club. you see horses on his front yard, my sister pointed out to me years ago, when he used to lived there.

I used to love Quincy! Watched a few old episodes on netflix, and felt disappointed. The memories were much better...I guess after having comparrisons such as House and the like...but for it's day, it was a fantastic show!

I find "All in the Family" to have a timeless appeal. Same with "Bewitched" and "I dream of Jeannie".
