So to me nice just means you do things to be nice, not because you feel it, mean it, believe it, whatever. A nice person will lie to avoid hurting your feelings. A nice person will tell you you look great in that dress and know damn well you look fat and ridiculous. I?d rather be told the truth than a lie. I?d rather be good than be nice. You?

I consider myself a nice person, however, I won't tell someone something I don't feel just to spare their feelings..
I may not say anything 'bad', but I won't lie to them either..I'd likely just keep my mouth shut.
..unless they acutally 'asked me'..or is that what you meant?

Hey, if I looked fat, I'd want to be told..and it wouldn't make me mad either..
We can't always see ourselves as others do..especially given that we see ourself on a daily basis. We don't necessarily notice the 'little' changes.
