Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.

And sometimes brighter and more talented, as Biden demonstrates as compared to Trump.

Not sure what took everyone so long but whatever.

My guy lost. "My guy" have to use quotes but I think if you're honest with yourselves ya'll do too.

It's primarily about what the candidate does with policy. Trump got some stuff dead on and a few (pretty big) missteps. It was far easier to defend him under the lies and unfair attacks against him and his family (No Russia collusion, Fake Impeachment).

The GOP might do some lawsuits but tick tick ya'll ain't nobody have time to see Trump pull a magic trick. They're dancing in Timesquare right now. I can't imagine how they could pull the baby from the burning Cadillac this time.

The good news (it's really suspect): the Congress numbers for the GOP haven't (probably) gone down. Ain't that something! Well, it took a global pandemic but the Dems pulled it off.

Turlteface Mitch will be the hero. Bless his heart, he's ugly as sin but I'd kiss that face any day.

Anyhow, congrats to the Dems for stuffing ballots and letting the dead vote (as per always).

Make way for Uncle Joe and please let his wife go with him everywhere to remind him what planet he's on (it really is that bad).

Obviously I can't comment on how Biden is going to repair Broken America, but he's making the right noises from the start. Talking of healing and reconciliation..... Talking about there being no red and blue, just Americans.... making it clear he intends to work for everybody not just his selected causes.

It sounds presidential. It sounds...... "right".

Here's hoping it happens.

As for American foreign policy, well, things don't look good for Britain but I'm not too upset about that because Britain - and by Britain I mean mostly England - desperately needs to have the consequences of its hubris, arrogance and short sightedness shoved right in its face.

I don't know if you guys have seen the interview with Boris Johnson on Auntie Beeb this morning, but he was full of gushing praise for Joe Biden... congratulated him effusively.... Told him that Britain is Americas greatest ally and staunchest supporter..... mentioned the Special Relationship (that only exists in British minds) about fifteen times.....

All weasel words. All spoken with forked tongue. Johnson was Trump's b****. The Conservative Party here are spitting mad that they've lost the President they truly supported. And the smiles on their faces as they say "we are looking forward to working with President Biden" are forced ones. Inside, they're totally pissed off.

If I was Biden, I'd be wanting to teach the British a lesson with a massive snub. Don't come here. Do what Obama said... put a British trade deal to the very bottom of the pile of priorities..... Send only your lowest ranked people to come here to conduct talks and make sure they have to refer everything back to Washington so it takes a verrrrrrry long time to make progress (if any).

The only way Britain will change its mind about Brexit is to make it hurt painfully. Rejoiners here will make sure the Tory party owns it. This is Johnson's baby and he isn't going to be allowed to shift the blame for anything.

Joe Biden will do what is right for America. We hope that he'll do right for us too. By giving us nothing.

Buddy is pulling an Al Gore and wants to sue.

Tick Tock Mr President you have exactly 390 days to get this resolved or I'm afraid you'll simply have to forfeit all your paychecks and pay reparations to victim groups as defined by critical race theory and intersectionality to include all of the little girls you sniffed or whatever.

hey kids these shirts are going like hotcakes!!

Oh, and why is Neal Capito pre-empting comments from the press secretary? Is he mansplaining?

Still arguing over political parties that care more about your vote then your welfare I see.

Best thing about trump was the jokes. I suspect the best thing about biden will also be the jokes. If he kicks the bucket and Kamala gets the big chair I bet the jokes will still be pretty good.

I don't get This

President-Elect Biden is not an unemployed (under-employed) LGBTQ black woman with pre-existing conditions needing consultation on an abortion.

So why is he helping them?

I am unable to comprehend why Americans have such an aggressively antagonistic attitude toward state aided health care.

Perhaps its just that I've lived my entire life knowing that if I need medical treatment, I can get whatever I need regardless of cost, at the point of need. That kind of security instils confidence and a feeling of security which I would never want to lose.

I can't imagine why any people, anywhere on earth, wouldn't want that. I'd be horrified to think that myself or any of my loved ones might suffer injury, illness or even death for want of being able to afford treatment.

And yet.... it's such an emotional issue over there and seems from here to be one that.... even those who want it, don't want to see UNIVERSAL state funding for health care. Perhaps I'm reading something wrong or getting an incorrect message.

But please... try to explain to this somewhat confused Brit.....

Why the hell would you NOT want to know that your health, and the health of your fellow Americans is the most important single social priority..... and is worth funding from taxation or some other form of state aided public contribution.

I can't think of anything that could possibly be a higher social priority.

Here is the answer for you:

1. Americans are the most willfully ignorant people on planet earth.
2. "State aided health care" = Socialism = Communism = the USSR and/or Venezuela and/or Nazi Germany = Therefore is not just bad, it is evil, anti-Christtian, and is only good for illegal aliens.
3. Americans are the most willfully ignorant people on planet earth.

Hopefully that clears it up for you.

SOCIALISM!! Is the fear that is being pumped into the right-wingers.

I imagine it would also knock out a huge portion of income for insurance companies, so they buy their way into the capitol and fund the fears of SOCIALISM.
Though Obamacare should have pumped up the insurance industry by the requirement mandate. But since it was put forth by Obama, It Is BAAAAD!!

Then there's the mis-information campaign that "Do you want the gov't to run your hospitals?!??"
It's not like "Congressman Mike" is going to give you your flu shot today....
There are a lot of ways this could be done without sacrificing the healthcare industry. Though I think more and more they are being bought up by investment groups.

Americans dont trust the government and they are like chaski says willfully ignorant.

Because there is no trust, they have to fight to take care of their own, so helping everyone else is threat.

and people are really willfully ignorant.

Every time for a new president that you vote. It is not always a sure thing. A new president might everything or half he promise.

Most of you will be screw, not always the president fault, but the system to you, as well.

With government healthcare, with soo many hands control the system.

You don't which direction or which way that where the monkey came from.

That has his finger up in your ass!
