It provides the sermon with blanket-statement material he should address for the days lecture.

Borging your cult takes time and practice - many sessions of meditative humming

Releasing stress by letting your brain take a s*** in the pool that Prayer v1 and v2 practitioners are playing in.

Ben, reportedly to pooped to pontificate, came up with some really goofy stuff. What do you think he meant.

So anyway, JC acceding into heaven shouts down, "Don't wait up". Peter asked, "what did HE say"? John replied, "I think HE said He would be right back". And this has caused some confusion over the millennia.

*personal update:

I have started intermittent fasting on a small scale. Usually, skip lunch and have small breakfasts and dinners. I see progress both on the physical side and with focus and acuity. Totally worth the time.

Again, look into fasting. It's biblical and it's a great help . . . for everyone.

How do you define prayer

I'd bet even the Pope received hopes and prayers while he was stuck in the elevator.

Though it was the firemen that rescued him.

So, "thoughts and prayers" override god's will and override one's status of being "saved" by Jesus Christ.

Interesting concept that.

No one said those "thoughts and prayers" would be able to override the natural course of events - be it controlled by god, mother nature or a fireman with a breaker-bar.

It's a way for the godful to say "Well, I tried. I asked god"

No I didn't actually help those starving kids in Africa, and no I didn't help those victims of the hurricanes, true I never really did anything for anyone besides myself... But man I prayed my a** off for those poor bastards!"

Dear Baby Jesus,

Please help those people who's lives are at danger from the hurricane.

Thank you in advance for the inaction, those evil sinners probably deserved being punished anyway.

Oh, please let President Trump have a great day at the golf course... he needs a break... and a prayer... and some good thoughts... and best wishes.

The golf course? I thought he blew off Poland so he could help thwart the hurricane

I'd guess wacking golf balls at it, but even Trump isn't stupid enough to go his golf course at Mar-a-Lago right now....

...and his resort in Miami has bedbugs, so he won't be going there... until the next G7 meeting... needs time to get pest control over there.

Well, you know, he doesn't think he's even heard of a CAT 5 hurricane. He needs to seek comfort somewhere.
