TY

Justice is slow but sure.

Grist the grain either before or after milling.

I am thinking that the grist ground exceedingly small may mean that God does not miss much.

Locusts! Didn't he also strike loose with locusts?
Or was that just his angles?

I just don't see that often (aside from Exodus)

but right this was God who sent the locusts

"Though the mills of God grind slowly; Yet they grind exceeding small;
Though with patience He stands waiting, With exactness grinds He all."

I could swear I've heard this before, and the only place I can think of that I may have run across it would be a Stephen King book.

He often quoted literature in openings to chapters or sections. But I'll be damned if I can find this.

If I had to guess, it would be somewhere in The Dark Tower series.

There have been various versions through the years... one of the earliest is "The millstones of the gods grind late, but they grind fine"... the idea that people are not necessarily punished contemporaneously with their wrong doings, but when eventually punished it is severe.

etc

No, I think the sauce under the cheese on a pizza freshly out of the oven is like the hottest thing on plates.

I remember reading a scientific study on the thermodynamics of pizza.

How many millions of roofs of mouths (how the hell do you say that less clumsy?) have been burnt over the years.

Millions of mouth ceilings. The roof of your mouth is actually your scalp. Yet we call the ceiling the roof and not enough people use the attic of their mouths to think this out.
