But, wouldn't one think that of all people a catholic might be less likely to make fun of the burning of one of their god's houses of worship?
Note: I am probably wrong on that point and also wrong that the particular member is Catholic in the 1st place, so accept my opinion as being wrong.
I’ve found Catholics here to be less religious than their international counterparts.
If I had to guess, I would probably guess he is Evangelical. But he rarely is ever straightforward in his posts, so I usually ignore them. So I really couldn’t tell you.
Nor do I care really. I’m not a fan of organized religion in general due to the way they always seem to be detrimental to idea of being good stewards to the Earth or its inhabitants (including humans).
But I was concerned for the cathedral, as the destruction of historical landmarks are never a good thing.
