I'd hate to have to be involved in American politics, it really seems to be a choice between terrible and so unbelievably terrible the terrible choice seems worth voting for.

That's too much work. If I really liked any democrat/republican I might consider doing it, but that hasn't been the case recently

That is called voting for the lesser of two evils.
Or the evil of two lessers.
My choice I guess!

NDP all the way.
I would vote pure socialist, but the US made those unpopular with all of their propaganda.

America sucks. Glory to socialism.

It might be nice if there was more than 2.

I don't know about nice, but it would sure make for a lot of drama in Congress! I witnessed the functioning of the German Parliament, back in the late 60's and early 70's, and the multi-party goings-on make for drama and intrigue, with a good dose of double-cross, and who's-got-your-back.

Technically, I'm still registered at City Hall as a Republican, but I've been giving the GOP a hassle since before the election, over the weakness of their party platform, and have refused to make further contributions unless the platform changes. Last week, I received a "Final Notice" from them, saying that 'this is your last chance' to reinstate Party Membership for 2009. This week, I received a second "Final Notice." How many times do you get a "last chance"?
