True but people accepted responsabilities for there actions. If people wanted mnore kids they knew they would have to provide for them. Now-a-days it dosnt matter. If you cant afford your drugs, you get another kid then you get more income support and tax credits. And if you are a drug addict, the goverment will actually give you more money so you can buy your fix.
People will get divorced so they can get more tax credits. WIthout all the benfits, people would have to think about there actions before acting as wouldnt be able to rely on everyone wlse to sort there lives out for them.
Maybe if it was just food vouchers and clothes vouchers instead of money. That would mke a big difference. The council pay your yuour accomodation, your electricity and your water. You then get food vouchers and clothing vouchers, so you eat and be clothed. Some sort of bus or train card for free travel.
Then if you are out of work, do community work such as clearing off graffittii, cleaning the streets etc, so the goverment will save money so they will not have to pay people to do these tasks.
Things like TV and Holidays, well Im sorry but they are a privelage, if everyone else has to work for them why should people get them for free, they are not needed to survive.
Also job centres, if you are looking for a job and unemployed then you can goto college to learn new skills during working hours. If you fail to do this, then yopur benefits are cut off. And if you HAVE to do this to get benefits and survive then you are an idiot if you decide not too.
Drug addicts, etc. Then put them into rehab, goveremnt funded. But there will be consequences if they mess up.
Is it just me, or are you becoming less extreme as your initial argument fails?
