I have played guitar for about 20 years now and love it more now than when I first started. If you play guitar, post reply and tell ur love for playing.

I first started to play about 2 years ago, even though I more wanted to play bass, after a while I bought a bass and my guitar got forgotten, recently started learning again though

i'm currently learning but i'm self taught and my teacher is lazy

I've been playing for 3 years now, i'm still not particularly good, but I can always sit down, make a little song for myself and come out feeling alot better

As long as you stay with it you will do fine. That is the key..consistency

I self taught myself as well and play chords by sound. Musical notes do not mean anything to me. I just hear a song and play what I hear.
