If I go to a thread titled "UK vs USA," the title bar for the page says "UK vs USA forums - The Forum Site."

Honestly, if this is enough to get your drawers knotted up, then you have a remarkably good life. I can't imagine how you get through a day dealing with other people if something like that actually "peeves" you.

The government, choosing 6 "national" turkeys for thanksgiving, and flying them first class to disneyland for a week before flying them first class to Washington DC so they can walk around on the White House lawn and be pardoned by the president, all paid for by my taxes is what pisses me off.

while that does sound ridiculous, if you do the math it probably cost each individual tax payer a fraction of a cent. That's worth it to me for the laugh of flying turkeys to Disneyland, lol

You're absolutely right, but for that same fraction of a cent per taxpayer they could feed 10,000 hungry people thanksgiving dinner, instead of spending it on stupid turkeys that will be pooping on the white house lawn.

true...not sure about the actual numbers there, but I see your point. However I think there are worse examples than this goes in government opperations. George Bushes inauguration party cost $40 million didn't it?
