I thought of this when i was being ignored by someone (no names mentioned) and i was thinking that i had got off easy and i did still have people to talk to, and there are people who aren't can't speak up and let their voice be heard....

Some times teachers just want to give a student who never participates a chance. It's frustrating, but they're probably aware of your knowledge. You sound very bright.
