I don?t understand Islam---I don?t ever understand the Jews
I don?t understand the Catholics---With their guilt and pious views
Buddha preaches in the east---Christian evangelicals in the west
With all their martyrs and prophets---Gospels, scriptures and text
Well you can make your conversion---Consecrate yourself at will
Become holier-than-thou---With god?s great moral placebo pill
You feel safe in your skin---Offering your soul in sacrifice Buying your place in heaven---Or some other divine paradise
Sanctified within the illusion---Smug, self-righteous and safe
Preying on the cold and sacred---Garish altar of faith
Within that marble crucifixion---You feel both his pain and his loss
But behind that devout depiction---Is just a man nailed on a cross
It?s all a back to front contradiction---The even in the odd
That god didn?t create man---Man created god
And all the mad mullahs and clerics---Rabbis, bishops and priests
Praying to their god differently---Radicalizing secular beliefs
With their sermons of partition---Dividing the holy trinity
Jihads, holy wars and crusades---The very seeds of ethnic bigotry
Advocating a litany of lies---Under the ever gathering storm
Through this narrow-minded bulls***---Sectarian lines are drawn
It?s the cult of organized religion---With its factions, far and wide
That give us all one more reason---To kill, separate and divide
