I've got about six pay days between now and Christmas (I get paid weekly).

Not organised yet, it's ages away. I'll decide what to get people some-time in mid december.

We don't start buying presents until December. I normally can't get in the mood for Christmas shopping until the week before.

No. No. No. You have to at the least give halloween your full attention before you start thinking about christmas. I would say that one should wait until after thanksgiving as well. One holiday at a time.

Then again, I am fond of procrastination, so maybe it's less about respect for the other holidays than that.

I need to get a move on! I don't like that mad panic at the end where the shops are so busy you cant move and the queues are so long, it takes for ever to get served.

I was out for my morning walk yesterday and saw through a window that someone had their Christmas tree up and decorated!!! WTF?!?! That's just beyond nuts.

Kind of awesome too though, despite my aversion to celebrating holidays ahead of time.

Kind of reminds me of the tree in our party house up year round.

I made my list of who to buy for, ideas on what to get, price I want to spend on each person. I have bought a couple presents already. I will be done my shopping by the end of November with all the gifts wrapped. I am not venturing to the mall in December, its a mad house.

In order to try to not get caught up in a rush I bought two gifts this past weekend - both were kind of big ones...so I got that out of the way and won't be waiting til the last minute and have to shell out more dough.

The only ones I'm really worried about for Christmas are my kids. And I haven't bought s***, lol...
Don't get me wrong... I'll pick something up if it POPS, say "OMG Mom would love this..." But usually it's just cards... Mebbe this year a nice family photo...
