Ok, i'd like to hear your opinions on a Older mature woman, dating a much younger guy, seems to me that it is much more accepted for an older guy to have a much younger woman hanging on his arm, but when it's reversed, the woman gets called a cradle snatcher.... Plus lots of other unsavoury names. My honest opinion is, as long as nobdy gets hurt and the couple are happy with the situation, then Good Luck to them, just wondered what your thoughts are on this?

I agree. As long as the couple is happy ,and care for one another, age doesn't matter.

Physically its ideal, and i think its none of anyones business. Its about a person not an age in my opinion

As long as the much younger guy is over 18 and the couple is happy, I say more power to them. Life is just to damn short to let the world dictate what is accetable as far as your happiness.

I think the case is that for MOST older women, and MOST younger men the situation doesn't work because thair wants and needs and place in the world are completely different (as opposed to older men who tend to have a worrying amount in common with teenage girls). But if two individuals find that they are on the same playing field I see nothing wrong with it, as long as you say no one gets hurt.

Exactally... Thats like someone saying "you can't have your steak rare", or "don't put ice cream on your hot apple pie". Piss on them, do what makes you happy...

Go with the flow and if your happy and nobody is being hurt, stuff what other narrow minded people think.

You mean like toyboys???

I think they seem t work fine as a partnership. As long as each of them are satisfying their partner (in more ways than one) wheres the problem?

That is the same for any relationship though, surely???

Look at Demi moore and Ashton Kutcher, they seem to be fine. And Cameron Diaz and Justin timberlake seem perfectly happy.

The only thing i will say that is negative is, I had a relationship with two much younger guys. It was great fun, they were both lovely guys. But as time went on im afraid both of them got to a point where they needed to sew thier wild oats more and broaden thier experience. And when you are of a certain age you realise you gotta let them go and do it.

So you may get hurt in the process.

Oh btw, i wasnt seeing 2 guys at the same time, it was one after the other

Why can't you put ice cream on hot apple pie? It's creamy delicious!

Nobody has the right to say whether it is right or wrong. It is entirely down to the couple themselves.

If they are happy together then that is all that matters.

Personally I have usually gone for younger guys - I had a fantastic fling with a guy on only 22 when I was 32 - wouldn't have changed it for the world. He made me feel good about myself, and said that he would never date women his own age or younger coz they had nothing to offer him.

Each to their own I say.

Mind you I am now with a guy who is only 2 months younger than me - but that works well too

Paperdoll, I'm going to say this slow for you this time. You can't put icecream on hot apple pie for the same reason that older women can't go out with younger men...
you can!
