I'm against this law, but I'm not quite comfortable with a president deciding which laws they want to defend or not.

If this Constitutional Lawyer of a President has actually read the Constitution..

tho I don't agree with the defense of marriage act...

the US President is not suppose to be a King or an dictator, he can not choose which laws he want to obey or not.

This doesn't mean gay marriage will be legal, only that the constitution wouldn't define marriage between a woman and a man.

Well it's not about obeying it or not (ask George Bush about not enforcing regulations). It's states that the law applies to, the Obama administration doesn't enforce it.

But he is telling the courts that the administration thinks the law is unconstitutional.
