As you well know, the Left (from the President on down) routinely scream the LIE that the "rich" don't pay their "fair share".

You've posted proof that the rich pay considerably MORE than a "fair share".

They pay more in actual dollars.
They pay a higher rate.
They pay a greater share of the total with the top 1% paying OVER 20% of the total taxes collected.

Yeah riiiight!
The Internal Revenue Service released data from the 400 individual income tax returns reporting the highest adjusted gross income. This elite ultrarich group earned on average $202 million in 2009, the latest year available. And buried in the data is the startling disclosure that six of the 400 paid no federal income tax."

And from the same link:
"And that data demonstrates that many of the ultrarich can and do reduce their tax liability to very low levels, even zero. Besides the six who paid no federal income tax, the I.R.S. reported that 27 paid from zero to 10 percent of their adjusted gross incomes and another 89 paid between 10 and 15 percent, which is close to the 13.9 percent rate that Mr. Romney disclosed that he paid in 2010. (At the other end of the spectrum, 82 paid 30 to 35 percent. None paid more than 35 percent.) So more than a quarter of the people earning an average of over $200 million in 2009 paid less than 15 percent of their adjusted gross income in taxes."

Yes, anti-trust is certainly one part of it.

That sounds ominous.

You think anti-trust is the only thing necessary to keep corporations from infringing the rights of others?

Of course not. There's laws against theft, slavery, murder and fraud that apply to corporations as well as individuals. And actually, anti-trust would (should) apply to individuals as well, but most individuals can't usually acquire that much wealth/power/market share, but it's possible.

What about lobbying? Should there be restrictions on that?

Absolutely, no tit for tat under/above the table conflict of interest "contributions" from anybody, including from/to unions. If a contribution could possibly compromise an office, it's fraud, plain and simple and should be legislated against. This would require that all politicians have no investments but those in blind trusts, and no income going into it except by being passed through a filter--and every politician would have to undergo discovery for offshore/hidden investments that aren't in compliance.

Just as we need a wall of separation between church and state, we also need such a wall between money and power.

Good question, btw, but I dare say you didn't expect that answer. I am very much FOR the influence of reason and ideas, but not money. Unfortunately, until such time as such a system is in place, we have to muddle along, with voters keeping their eyes pealed for honorable candidates with integrity--two big "WITHs".

Glad you agree that such lobbying needs reform. And due to the influence lobbyists have in just about every other issue, this, in my opinion, is the single most important issue that our government needs to address.

The single most important issue our government needs to address is too much government. "Government isn't the solution to our problem. Government IS the problem."--RR

Simple message. Simple to swallow. Simple but not true. Government has reason to exist as a strong entity. Aging & crumbling infrastructure, support of health & wellness of the environment and citizens whose numbers are increasing AND aging and people somehow think that government can remain at current levels and worse (like Romney, conservs & tea party) needs to be smaller is just plain crazy & wrong.

No, it was a rhetorical question to show why lobbying reform is most important. Anything you consider important, such as cutting spending, doesn't get passed unless lobbyists approve.
