Yeah I think he'll win this one too. The Republicans messed up big time on this.

I don't think they stood a real chance even not messing up.

I didn't care for the Republican Candidates when I saw them. I doubted that they would do good mainly because their arguments were horrible. When I watched or listened to them, honestly I mostly heard them stating what Obama didn't do and not what they will do. Please correct me if I'm wrong in my statement, but they didn't do good to me.

They could have won it with the right candidate.

I don't think so. Moderate Romney can't even get his party to fully back him. The extremists can only ride the anti-Romney coat tails for a week or two, and the Libertarian wing only has barely a double digit support.

I think Christie could have won. McCain could have won this time.

I don't see either of them having the ability to unseat him.

Obama doesn't have the support and popularity that he had in '08, you cannot deny that. The only reason he has been leading polls is because there is no viable candidate coming from the Republican side. He would have lost any other election year with his current approval rating and the economy. Look at the history of election trends vs. those two factors and you will see what I'm talking about.

And, note, this is not a statement on whether or not I think he is doing a good job. It is just how it has been in elections throughout the past few decades.

Obama has an approval rating just under 50%.
The dems are down near single digits & the pubs are even less than that.
I don't think they can take him.
