I got a CNN breaking news alert just before the plane landed.

Some of the passengers are complaining that they weren't told during the flight. I don't think I'd want to know that

I don't see why it's that unbelievable. People die all the time, that's why they have co-pilots in case something does happen.

Agree.....I would go nuts...forgetting all about the co-pilot!!

Same here..and that's probably why they didnt say anything..and the stewardesses weren't upset because they knew the co-pilot could manage..but if the passengers caught wind of it! God knows what could have happened in the panic, windows could get broke, people sucked out the windows...all sorts of freak things..

How sad for the co-pilot though. Would have been hard to sit next to your co-worker (maybe friend's) dead body and calmly land the plan.
