Why do people vote? TO get the government to act. Its there job TO DO somthing so that people ARE NOT abused in the first place! Lol
Its THEIR fault for letting ANYONE take these jobs.
Increase the pay for a start for the dedicated carers and enforce training for even the basic of carers. You cant just walk into a job as a carer looking after human lives with no training, its ridiculous....Mcdonalds workers get more training for sweeping the floor.
Training is given for a HCA. It's not a desirable job tbh, it doesn't require qualifications or previous training (you get trained on the job) because as an HCA you're generally a glorified arse wiper especially
with old people. You bathe them, change them and feed them.
The appropriate checks are carried out but within a care environment there is a chance of abuse. I'm not justifying it happening but no matter what you do you'll never stop it completely if the appropriate checks/vetting process has been seen through.
You can't realisitcally increase the pay as generally HCA's are either NHS staff or BUPA and there is a limited amount of money for the people at the bottom.
