I'm sure glad you cleared that up. Maybe that's why religious freedom, or the freedom from religion is so important.

In conclusion, to read scripture literally without knowing the true context and idioms of the original words and language forces one to truly believe in the impossible and unnatural. The Bible begins with a talking serpent and ends with ten headed monster. A clear indication from the compilers of scripture to not take the Bible literally.

i heard that to read the bible .. is to read between the lines and what message they are trying to tell us..

that is how life is i guess to look beyond what it throws at you and look beyond the obvious

Hmmm, I dunno I reckon The Bible was written to instill fear into all who read to get them to follow Christianity, I think that by a talking snake they meant talking snake.. And only now in the modern "age of reason" people have rationalized it to mean "anything you want it to mean" in an attempt to keep it meaningful. But it doesnt scare me !!!!!

You are on the right track.

To me, the Bible has both Christ and the Antichrist speaking. It is to us to dither out who is speaking.
