Not a true Goth

OK I`m not a true Goth anymore. An I the only one who thinks Type O Negative are the best band ever.

theoretically, you could like country music and still be goth. its not just about the music

one thing I have always pondered, what is this state of mind we have? Is it what men have long called "enlightenment?" Or is it simply an elevated maturity that allows one to see the world from a cliff far above and beyond?

It is neither of these things.
Goth is a simple term for a fad that many people hang their images on.

To claim goths boys and girls are englightened is ridiculous, and equally ridiculous it is to claim that because you are goth you are Not enlightened. And elevated maturity? haaahahahahahaah. don't make me laugh, or..wait.. you did. never mind then, thanks for the laugh. There is NO trace of any sort of elevated maturity in the goth crowd, just like there is no such traces in the emo crowd for instance(goth and emo are eerily similar btw, including the music tastes and clothing and sobbing about life).

Some individuals within the goth/emo/punk/neo-classical/techno/etc movement are enlightened and elevated in maturity, but none of the crowds are. if you can see what I'm getting at.
