2011 looks to be a much better year for me. I gave up work two years ago to concentrate on raising my son because without family backup and his father present it all got a bit much to hold down my job.
Money has been very tight and my self esteem hit an all time low. On January 10th I am starting a voluntary work program where they aim to help you get back on your feet and into a job that suits and works for you based around childcare needs. I am so looking forward to it. Not just because it will mean more money coming in but mostly because I need to feel good about myself again and to spend more time out of these four walls. Jobs around here are scarce to say the least but after te first four weeks of this course they place you somewhere for a months trial and if it goes well you are in..
