Need some info on Giorgio Vasari

Hi all! I'm looking for some information on a specific painting by Vasari, Lorenzo The Magnificent Specifically, i was looking for why in that painting Vasari panted three "faces" in that portrait. One being the profile of Lorenzo de Medici, another being a full face at de Medici's profile, and one at the bottom leftish corner of the painting. I've been searching for a couple of days now and can't find that specific information, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Just like the drawings for a house; front, side and 'bottom-leftish.'

I don't think that's right. The full face next to the profile does not look like Lorenzo at all, and the face at the bottom leftish corner looks almost pig-like. Here is the portrait that I am talking about:



There are two other "faces" in the portrait, but I thought they looked more like decoration, but the more I look at it, I think it would be rather weird to just have faces lying around while getting your portrait done.

Generally two masks signify Tragedy and Comedy. So they're allegorical - can't see him sitting around with a bunch of real faces
