I have to write a memo for tomorrow and it needs a sentence about a new procedure for sickness being easy to understand and follow. Which of these is right?

It couldn't be simpler

Or

It's that simple

IMO, neither of those is really appropriate unless you're going for ultra-informal. And even if you are, they're poor form and thoroughly superfluous.

"easy enough biotchs"

If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose "it's that simple".

I think you could say.

It couldn't be anymore simple.

or...

It couldn't be more simple.

I think personally those two options sound much less awkward.

but don't listen to me, I is not the bestest at speackin' "american".

The grammar on both is technically fine. You're asking a style question.

My suggestion was to get rid of the sentence entirely. It's superfluous. I wouldn't want to see either in the type of document you're talking about.

I'm sorry I didn't sugar coat my suggestion so as not to hurt your feelings. Maybe you shouldn't ask for suggestions if you're going to throw a fit and cry when you get one.

I'm kinda making a point that the old procedure wasn't being followed properly, I want them to know that I find it simple and easy to follow and so should they. I feel if I don't put in something like that they won't take it as seriously as they would if I seem a little bit annoyed.

jonnythan it takes more than someone I hardly know on a forum to hurt my feelings. And one smiley is hardly 'throwing a fit' is it?

I welcome contsructive criticism (hence me asking) but berating me and calling it superfluous without offering suggestions seems a bit off.
