NEGATIVE KUDOS

Why is there so much concern about getting NEGATIVE KUDOS----If you say what you trely believe; who cares what others think------

If I told floydie I didn't like her copying me all the time that would be one thing.
but if i told her she was a loser and needed a life, well totally different.

the only time it bugs me is when i get a neg in place of a decent reply... its like the copout way of arguing... i dont see freaking out over it... but it is annoying...

some people probably follow their stats though...

I like the whole Kudos thing! I like to know what people think about my posts and everyone elses.

But we all come from different backgrounds-----and are on different levels of communicating----

So what being nice and being mean are different depending on your background???

That may be true but on here everyone must communicate in a way that coheres with the TOS of this site and that means getting your point across in a polite manner and not namecalling,etc. I think the kudo system is a good way of responding to posts.

I've given maybe 5 the whole time I've been on here and it has to be a horrible racial slur, or something outrageously baiting. My aunt forsome reason could tell someone they smelled like yesterday's garbage and not hurt someone's feelings. It was the way that she told them. I have a bitter person doing it to me, so, who care; they look foolish.

It's not a question of being nice----nice is relative---it's expressing something and being taken the wrong way---

But why! You said what you wanted to say in a true manner---as long as you feel you were honest---why care what others think

I rarely give out neg kudos. Unless someone is being obviously mean and rude than I will.

Does it make you a negative person-----I have many but I know who they are------
