My sister wants to get to Some guy she met in Israel

So my sister is in Israel, She is my half sister. She is half arab and is visiting her family in Israel. Now I have nothing against arabs but some man, although he is well off asked for her hand and she said yes. I told that she should get to know him first and I made her promise he has to come on holiday to Australia first.


But the thing is I have this Strong feeling that if he ever Hurts her I would put him through a wall and I probably may not be able to stop myself after that.

I just really want to make sure she takes her time with him and doesn't rush in to anything no matter who the man is. She fails to see that this guy could not be what he appears.

I told her to take it slow and she says that, thats a western way. I told her not be f***en stupid and that I dont give a f*** if your from the west or the east you use common sense.

He father owns a clothes store and she met him in that.

well as you have gave her real good advice all you can do is sit back and wait to see if it turns out ok...but yeah id be the same over my sister if i had one..xx

She might be getting wrong info. Tell her it's not Western way. And advice her, calmly, so that she will actually listen and tell her the possible troubles if something goes wrong. People mostly listen if they hear about aftermaths that can either make them happy or miserable.

Try to tell her at a quiet place or a family dinner that considering carefully is the right way to do especially to someone she doesn't know much. If she keeps denying to do so, try your best as a brother when that guy come here to find out what type of guy he really is. Don't be too pushy though.. act and observe according to the way he acts. If he's not visiting Australia, ask her if you or someone in the family could talk to him and do some observations.

True, I told she had to make him come here first and she said yes. But it still stands Id put him through a wall if he did anything to her. Israel wouldn't have to worry about terrorists. They would worry about me on the war path down the street.

Ahhh this pees me off a bit. My family thinks I'm more of the calm one because my Brother is always the beast.

They just don't know im the sleeping beast. Only a few people know that and I like to keep it that way because I hate been overly mean.

Try and remain calm, if you blow up about it you might lose your sister altogether.

When he is gonna come over here. I plan to sus him out. I'm not sure if I will be able to not give him dirty looks though.

Well Ill try to be civilised. I'm not sure if I could be 100% happy but I will at least try.

That's your sister's business not yours...I understand your concern, but when someone is grown...you leave them alone in the private affairs.
