Great idea for a forum. So can it be like a consumer reports type of forum, where people make threads or go to in order to find out what the best brand or model of something they are considering?

As for this topic, of course the hot buttons are when it comes to music, movies, and games that are "owned" by consumers.

The customer is always right. I deal with customers, its them I hve to please, not them me.

That sounds so wrong...

The customer is always wrong. That is the one truth I've learned from working in stores, restaurants and nowadays customer service. It is my job to give the customers the correct information and help them make a decision because they cannot do so on their own.

I genrally find its the marketing team who make promises to the customer about the service they will recieve that are impossible to meet.

When I say the customer is always right, I mean in terms of the serivce they pay for.

It popped up on my interview and was the only question I struggled on "Is the customer always right". Whats worst is there is no definate answer.

The customer might always be in the right because its their money, but the customer is frequently a numpty.

That is your own fault though. Its not someone elses job to manage your money, genrally. Your money, your choice.

If I was the member of a country club and I contributed what works out as %0% of their turnaround. Who would get better serivce , me or someone who contributed 3%.

Without me they would go under. WIthout the other person, there would be less of an impact.

WOuld you stay nice and fair and purpsoefully put yourself out of business. And therefore purposefully put yourself into poverty.
