We have this corner table thing with two benches that go up against either wall. So, they're perpendicular to one another.

Anyway, I think my mom was trying to be creative or something, because she moved the benches around so that they are now facing each other, with the table in between them.

IT LOOKS REALLY DUMB!!!

Especially since both benches cut off at a diagonal where they would form the corner

It's really pissing me off

I asked her if I could switch it back and she said she wanted to "leave it for a while"

You know, I thought about that.

But then I realized, the benches probably aren't nearly as sturdy when there is no wall behind them supporting it. I won't be able to lean back comfortably unless I sit on the other side.

Also, the table has this bar that runs parallel to both benches, so it'll get in the way. Now, the benches are pushed in to save room and will be pushed back a bit when we use the table, but now people on both benches will have that annoying bar in their leg room instead of just one side
