My TFS Anniversary

Yep that's right tomorrow is my three year anniversary on TFS. It seems like only yesterday that I was a silly newb that knew much of nothing about forums. I had been on a couple of them before but never anything like TFS. The people were inviting and caring and I sayed. I'm really glad that I did.

During my first year and half here I was on total bed rest . I had colon cancer and I nearly died. Thanks to everyone that helped me through such hard times.

I've made many friends here in the past three years. Some of them are not on TFS anymore but I cherish each and everyone one of them.

I was thinking earlier that some of us are really like family here. We do share our lives with each other. During my three years I have been through so much andyou guys helped me through the rough times and cheered me on inthe good times.

1. My father died
2. My mother died
3. My oldest daughter graduated from high school
4. My oldest daughter got married
5.We've been through the birth of four grnadchildren
6. My youngest graduated high school
7. My youngest moved off to college
8. I got a divorce
9. I moved back to my home town five hours away.
10. I got married again.


I know there have been many milestones and tragedies along the way that I did'nt list but at any rate you get my point. We share our lives here on TFS and we learn to care for people that we have never even met. It's a great place and I hope to be here for many more years.

I share your feelings about this place, and the people here.

I didn't realize though, that you'd been through quite so much.

Congrats on the three years. I've only been here for a year myself. But I totally agree. TFS is unlike anything out there. It's truly a community and thanks to everyone for making it so.

It's nice to hear that so many people agree with me about the type of cool place that TFS is. As mods sometimes we only hear the bad things. I like the good myself.

haha. yeah. like for example, i got a fried request from someone i din't know the other day. normally on myspace i would cancel it immediately, but here i was like 'what could happen'? i'm totally comfortable on this site. i love it. i can see why you'd be here and not get tired even after three years.
