Hi.

They're a little blurry, a little too dark, a little not good enough. My cheap camera & me are still learning.

Nothing the matter with them IMO

Well, to be honest, you'd get a quantum leap in quality with a more expensive camera, but it's not so bad. Grief, it's wayyyy better than those bog-awful 110's we used to use as kids (Yuk).
What sort is it you're using?

Tip for a little bit of creativity you might not have thought of - if the camera will let you, go into your garden after dark and try taking some pics of plants and especially flowers and fruit if you have some, using the flash. If it will do macro and will cope with night conditions, then you can get some quite spectacular effects with huge contrast with the background (Which will obviously look pitch black). That's what I've been doing tonight

Thanks, I will try those suggestions.

I did play in the dark with some matches.

Well, it wasn't quite dark but I did go out and take this. Thank you for the ideas and help, I like it.

That's really good The dark background really sets them out.

This is what I took a bit earlier just for an example

That just proves that an expensive camera is not always needed to take beautiful pics.

I love the Old Mill Stream the best.

Very nice.
It does bring out the colors and focus of the picture.

What kind of crap camera do you have? I bought a Holga that's known for it's crapiness, but awesome photos.
