Mind Boggling

How come in a Dollar Store I can't find anything that useful for a dollar.

The dollar store is awesome!! i'm always finding cool stocking stuffers and they have dawn dishwashing liquid and other stuff for $1 that I find useful.
Also get plastic raincoats there for the farm. if they get ruined..oh well 2/$1 I'm not gonna cry about
I would not buy gum or candy there as it's usually stale
Oh and wrapping stuff!! they have the coolest wrapping stuff especially at christmas time!

in poundland you can get a 12 pack of monster munch.

Well the ice cream is fresh there--and no tax either

The dollar stores here just started carrying refrigerated/frozen food and ice cream

Stuff can't happen here? I did not know that!

I wouldn't buy any real food there, but I find the ice cream fresh--but still more expensive then WalMarts.

There chocolate is fine not stale, I buy cards there sometimes and candles. My hubby will buy hats for work since they get ruined all the time any way.

I did buy a bag of Pub Fries once the hot fries, any way they was major stale

That does not surprise me. I got my mom Big Red for christmas there one year that was stale..learned my lesson about the gum.
But for nonfood items, the dollar store is awesome!

The dollar paring knives are pretty good.

I have a paring knife from the Dollar store that'll slice off yer thumb if you don't watch it!
I go all the time!
