We had salisbury steak for dinner tonight (the prepackaged stuff, you open the box and stick the disposable pan in the oven and cook it. Anyway, I don't care for that prepackaged stuff because it tastes so salty to me!

About an hour after dinner, I started feeling pretty lousy and now I've got a stinkin' migraine starting

So, I've found a few things online that indicate that high sodium can cause migraines, but nothing that's really "concrete."

Any ideas where I can find out if it's the sodium or does anyone KNOW that sodium causes migraines, or even if any migraine sufferers have issues with sodium.

Thanks!!

I wondered about coincidence, but I've had the same thing with other salty foods, so I don't know if its related or not

Dammit....some things just taste better with salt (I'm kidding!)

I have to be very careful with chocolate. My mom gets mad about milk shakes, because I can't drink chocolate shakes...too rich (Strawberry... )

And the smell of certain chemicals, and believe it or not - strobe lights are triggers for me.

strobe lights can cause seizures so not surprising they do bother you.
have you talked to a doctor about migraine prevention?

Yeah, I take Topamax twice daily, but I also have meds to take if I get one anyway. It's been a while since I got one, though
